Viral Marketing Techniques – Challenges

Published by Blog Admin on July 28, 2011 under Articles

Marketing buzzwords come and go. Terms such as “surefire”, “greatest”, “as seen on TV”, and “innovative” each have been featured in millions of advertising headlines. These once powerful marketing words eventually became overused in the advertising world. As a result, they lost much of the impact they once had to persuade people to buy a product.

There is a marketing word being used today that companies are making millions of dollars a year from that consumers aren’t even close to sick of hearing. That word is “Challenge”.

People love to challenge themselves. They love to say they conquered a challenge. It makes them feel better about themselves, and gives them something to boast about to their friends. Whatever the reason, the word “Challenge” quickly hooks a person into reading more.

Some companies are building their entire marketing strategy around challenges. An example is Ed Dale’s “30 Day Challenge” which challenges participants to create a profitable Internet business in 30 days.

So can it work for your business? Can you create a viral marketing campaign by challenging your customers to do something that is so difficult only the best can achieve it?

Here are a few ways regular businesses can use challenges to attract new customers.

1) Reward Anyone Who Accomplishes a Certain Result

Offer a discount or prize to those who complete a certain task.

For example, a gym could offer to refund membership fees paid during the first three months to any customers who lose over 25 pounds during that time period.

2) Run a Competition

Run a competition right in your store where people compete against each other. Give a unique prize to the winner.

Make it a recurring event for added impact. That way, people can refer their friends to future events, and the event can grow stronger and stronger every time you run it.

3) Make a Quiz

Create a quiz related to your product on your website which gives the user a score, and suggests that they challenge their friends to see if they can beat that score. People love to compare their performance with others. People love it when they score higher on something than a friend does.

4) Help People Achieve a Certain Result with Your Product

Some people need a helping hand. That’s why Ed Dale’s 30 Day Internet Marketing Challenge is so successful. He actually guides people through the process of creating a money-making website. Can you create a series of videos that guide people towards a certain result with your product or service? They may be more willing to purchase your product if you can guide them

to achieve great results with it.

Viral Marketing Vs Conventional Marketing

Published by Blog Admin on July 25, 2011 under Articles

To use your marketing tools correctly you have to know the difference between them, as well as how to use each tool in a way that yields maximum effect. In this article we will discuss the difference between viral and conventional marketing, and the appropriate ways to use them.

-Viral marketing is not online ads

In contrast to traditional marketing, the aim of the viral marketing campaign is not to just post regular ads online. The goal is to create an interesting message that mentions your product and will be equally interesting if it didn’t. This message because it is so interesting will compel the audience to share it with their friends, spreading the word about your product in the process.

-Successful Viral marketing is a complete process

Unlike a traditional marketing massage, viral marketing enables the customer to actually buy what you are advertising about on the spot, just after seeing your viral massage. This is done by simply placing an online purchase cialis link somewhere along with your viral massage. This is never that easy in the case of conventional marketing.

-In viral marketing you give away stuff for free

You spend a lot during conventional marketing, but in viral marketing you give free stuff to the audience. If what you give them is good, they will tell their friends about you. If they don’t then you didn’t lose a lot, especially comparing the costs with those of conventional marketing.

-How to use both viral and conventional marketing.

Viral is great if you are just starting your business. When you don’t have the budget for a conventional campaign and you desperately need the publicity, viral is the way to go.

On the other hand, if your target audience is unlikely to be internet savvy or can’t be reached by a viral campaign, using conventional marketing is the way to go. However, viral and conventional marketing are not mutually exclusive. You can use conventional marketing to build awareness about your product then supplement it with a viral campaign to generate constant buzz and media exposure.

Knowing the difference between viral and conventional campaigns can be a great aid to you when you are deciding on which route you want to take with a new product.

Online Network Marketing Time Wasters – Build Your Home Based Business By Avoiding These Mistakes

Published by Blog Admin on July 25, 2011 under Articles

Online network marketing is one of the fastest and best ways to successfully market a home based business thanks in large part to the ability to leverage the awesome capabilities of the Internet. Unfortunately, too many people end up getting sidetracked spending their precious time on unnecessary time wasters resulting in a slowdown in their attempts to reach their online marketing goals faster.

Online Network Marketing Time Waster Number 1

I spend a considerable amount of time marketing on various work from home forums but time and again I find myself getting sucked into simply posting on the forums in various chats when I know I should be conducting other forms of marketing for my Scentsy business.

I think we have all been there because it really is so easy to lose track of time when you are engaging in conversations within a marketing forum. One neat little trick I have started to implement is to set a timer up only allowing myself 20 minutes in a forum as a minor break from my various other marketing promotions such as article marketing and video marketing.

Best of all, I know this technique works because I have personally noticed a significant increase in my overall productivity since I implemented

this time restriction.

Online Network Marketing Time Waster Number 2

The second biggest online business killer for me has always been posting on a blog. Sure, it’s a nice way to provide updates and other helpful information for the folks that read your blog but at the end of the day if what you are posting is not related to building your business you may find that it really wasn’t worth the time spent posting.

I have found that spending about 15 or 20
buy cialis minutes in the morning and another 15 or 20 minutes in the evening is more than enough time to make some meaningful posts full of high quality information. Again, much like the breaks I use for forum posting I have found that these short 20 minute blog posting sessions are more effective for me and my overall productivity.

I’m sure you already know this but there are other significant time wasters when it comes to the Internet to include playing games and watching online videos.

Some things are better left not doing and I almost classify both of those activities in that group but because some people have different ways of unwinding during their 20 minute breaks I’ve decided to totally rule these out of not doing. Still, just remember that time spent away from working on your business is time that could have been used to take it to a new earning level.

Are you ready to put what you just learned into action? If so, I encourage you to continue reading.

Successful Viral Marketing With Promotional Products

Published by Blog Admin on July 24, 2011 under Articles

Usually, viruses are things we tend to avoid. No one wants their computer infected with a bug, and a nasty cold virus is never a welcome visitor. But when it comes to obtaining new customers and advertising your company, viral marketing is one of the easiest and most effective ways to do it.

Viral marketing describes any strategy that encourages individuals to pass on a marketing message to others, creating the potential for exponential growth in the message’s exposure and influence. Like viruses, such strategies take advantage of rapid multiplication to explode your marketing message to hundreds, thousands, maybe even millions.

Promotional products can help your company enhance any viral marketing campaign. Make your company brand stand out from the rest when you use promotional products as part of one of the following viral marketing techniques:

The undercover technique

If you use this technique correctly, you’re audience won’t even know you’re marketing to them. An easy, inexpensive undercover technique is handing out promotional pens to the wait staff at local restaurants with your company name and logo on them. When customers go to sign the check,
price cialis they may notice your company name and decide to try your product or service. Be sure to include a phone number or website so eager shoppers can contact you directly.

Word of mouth technique

Also called the “buzz” marketing technique, word of mouth takes the form of gossip or referrals involving your company’s products or services. The easiest way to get word of mouth moving is through free publicity. For example, you company can sponsor a local charity golf tournament and have participants wear custom hats or shirts with your company logo, and your company can use logoed golf balls and golf accessories as prizes. Local newspaper and TV stations will likely cover the event, and include photos or video footage of participants using products with your company name and logo.

The reward technique

A great way to increase referrals, try using promotional products to encourage current clients to refer a friend or colleague to your business. A local gym may offer logoed towels custom water bottles to members who get a friend to sign up for a membership, and lawyers or accountants can give clients customized notepads or logoed calculators for referring a friend or family member.

Try combining one of these viral marketing techniques with promotional products for your next company event or promotion.

Online Marketing Webpage Copywriting Is Very Important

Published by Blog Admin on July 23, 2011 under Articles

Online marketing web page copywriting is important for any website. Content is the key when it comes to search engine optimization.

For any online business owner the goal would be to get traffic to your site and the highest possible search engine ranking. Ultimately, your goal would be to get more sales and for this you will need to get more traffic that can be converted. Your website content should be strong and interesting enough to make your visitors interested in what you have to say. You will have to understand keywords and what density to use on your pages. You will have to research well and create content that would drive traffic. Although flashy websites can be seen everywhere, at the end of the day good content is what will bring traffic.

Creating Content that is Interesting
Online marketing web page copywriting is all about creating content that would be interesting for your readers. Using the right keywords is quite important too so that you can bring in targeted traffic. The search engines will be looking for content that is grammatically correct, helpful information for readers and the right keyword density. Once you do get a visitor on your traffic your content should be able to keep them on your website long enough for them to be interested in your product or service.

Using the Right Keywords
For effective online marketing web page copywriting you will also have to use the right keywords and phrases. However, the keywords should not be forced in your content and must seem natural enough. If you think that this is a little difficult to achieve, you can hire the services of an experienced copywriter who has been working with SEO for a considerable amount of time. They would be able to blend in the desired keywords seamlessly in your content and keep the customers compelled and interested enough to purchase your products. Good content can keep your potential customers locked in to your web page and can convince them that you are knowledgeable in your niche and that your products are the best in the market.

Your web page must also have good titles and subheadings in bold and must contain the keywords. This would direct the attention of your readers to it and will also make the search engines happy and engaged. Your website must also have fresh content so it is a good idea to update your site regularly. Have a dynamic website map that will ensure that the search engines will keep returning to your site every time you add fresh content. Creating effective online marketing web page copywriting is all about using content that is relevant and informative and helpful for the readers.
